TidyDoc — Privacy Policy

The short version

Your documents never leave your device. TidyDoc converts your Markdown into Word, Excel and PDF locally, inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded, transmitted, logged, or stored by us — we have no servers to send anything to.

What TidyDoc does NOT collect

• No document contents, file names, or metadata
• No personal information
• No usage analytics or telemetry
• No cookies

Network access

The extension makes no network requests during document conversion. The only exception: if you choose to purchase TidyDoc Pro, the payment flow is handled by ExtensionPay and its payment processor Stripe, which handle your payment details under their own privacy policies. TidyDoc itself never sees your payment information.

Permissions

• storage — used only to remember your Pro license status locally.
