TidyPDF — Privacy Policy

The short version

Your files never leave your device. TidyPDF processes every PDF and image locally, inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded, transmitted, logged, or stored by us — we have no servers to send anything to.

What TidyPDF does NOT collect

• No file contents, file names, or metadata
• No personal information
• No usage analytics or telemetry
• No cookies

Network access

The extension makes no network requests during PDF processing. The only exception: if you choose to purchase TidyPDF Pro, the payment flow is handled by ExtensionPay and its payment processor Stripe, which handle your payment details under their own privacy policies. TidyPDF itself never sees your payment information.

Permissions

• storage — used only to remember your Pro license status locally.
