TidyPic — Privacy Policy

The short version

Your photos never leave your device. TidyPic converts every image locally, inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded, transmitted, logged, or stored by us — we have no servers to send anything to. As a bonus, EXIF and GPS location data are removed from converted images automatically.

What TidyPic does NOT collect

• No image contents, file names, or metadata
• No personal information
• No usage analytics or telemetry
• No cookies

Network access

The extension makes no network requests during image processing. The only exception: if you choose to purchase TidyPic Pro, the payment flow is handled by ExtensionPay and its payment processor Stripe, which handle your payment details under their own privacy policies. TidyPic itself never sees your payment information.

Permissions

• storage — used only to remember your Pro license status locally.

Open source components

TidyPic bundles the libheif decoder (LGPL-3.0) as WebAssembly for local HEIC decoding. The license text is included in the extension package.
